District & Building Calendars • Some dates are still waiting to be finalized (Assemblies, CSE’s, SST’s, etc.) Website will be updated as these dates are established. • Dates change….Faculty website will be consistently updated as changes are made. • Action Needed:Please review the Field Trips & Discovery Center dates and provide Teri with your proposed dates. (Be sure to cross reference with building calendar first) • Please review the calendars and notify Jeff if you spot any errors…

School Improvement Plan Goals • By June 2014, 100% of teachers will plan and deliver ELA instruction using EngageNYmodules and resources aligned to CCSS. • By June 2014, 100% of teachers will plan and deliver Math instruction using EngageNYmodules and resources aligned to CCSS. • By June 2014, 100% of teachers and administrators will implement CCSS-aligned formative assessments, mid-module and end-of-module assessments/common • By June 2014, 100% of teachers and administrators will have opportunities for professional learning to implement norms for High Quality Instruction.

    17. Safety Assessment • Recommendations at both district and school level. • Three areas that will be addressed district-wide: 1. Importance of all staff wearing their badges at all times while in the buildings or on district property 2. A commitment to fixing broken locks 3. A district plan for locksets in classrooms • CUS SEMT will review all of the findings and recommendations and address as appropriate and feasible. Report out to staff. • Anyone interested in seeing the full report – see Jeff.
