endsheet paste up

The endsheet should have a noticeable connection to the cover visually and verbally.

  • If you will include the table of contents, include spin-offs of your theme.
  • If your back endsheet will be different, include a paste up of it too.
Endsheet Paste-up

Keep your “theme look” going.

  • Paste-up an opening spread. If your opening will be more than one spread, be sure to tell how you will develop your ideas.

Open Copy
design 1 2 divider page s

Design one to two divider page(s).

creative process

Spend time with your group going through the creative process.

  • One person in your group should act as the Editor in Chief (EIC), this will help with keeping the group on track.
Creative Process
cover these elements

What is your theme/concept?

  • How does it relate to your school/student body?
  • How is it timely (appropriate for 2011)?
  • Be as specific as possible with events, situations and circumstances about your school and the students that will make this interesting and appealing.
