  1. Beginners’ Pressure Washing Tips – Types of Pressure Washers If you are new to the term of pressure washing, then there is a lot to learn. For today, in this beginner’s pressure washing tips, let’s learn about the types of pressure washers used for different purposes. This knowledge will help you with DIYs as well as while hiring services as it is imperative to have at least basic information to know if the company is professional or not. Electric or Gas Washer? Pressure washing, as the name suggests, is washing with water under high pressure to get better cleaning results. However, one needs to handle it carefully as, without it, this might cause more harm than positive results. Pressure washers use a pump to create pressure that flows through the attached hose. This pump can be either gasoline operated or powered by electricity. Gas Pressure Washers oIt offers a higher range of pounds of pressure per square inch (PSI) and gallons of water per minute (GPM). The extra power means faster and easier cleaning process. oThey are cordless, which means you do not have to look for an electrical outlet for cleaning purposes. oHowever, these are high-maintenance tools, even small ones. oThey are louder and produce emissions. This means it is better to not use these washers for indoors or covered spaces. Electric Pressure Washers oThese pressure washing tools do not produce any harmful emissions and are safe to use indoors. oThese are electrical which means you do not have to worry about continuous maintenance like oil changes, etc. oThese washers have a lower range of PSI that makes it difficult to complete the task in a short amount of time. You may also not see the results you hoped for. oThese aren’t portable washers as you need to attach the cord into a power outlet for usage. The best way to find satisfactory results is by hiring professional services. However, while choosing a company that deals with pressure washing, it is better to go with the one that also offers other hardscaping services like interlocking repair and concrete sealing. As such companies have a better experience with several projects that can help with the task in hand.
