We all come from the world, and we yearn for the beauty of the kingdom of God, and we strive to pursue it, but whether we do what God accepts, instead of doing a lot of false work. This chapter talks about the faith of God from the faith of the world, and mentions why God purifies our faith. To the final test of faith, I hope that everyone can live in Christ and become citizens of the kingdom of God. <br>

  1. Disciple Building Sharing A78 Purity/conversion of faith, The faith of the world, the faith of God, the faith of God to purify people, the necessity/process of conversion, Walk GOD’s way test

  2. Preface • We all come from the world, and we yearn for the beauty of the kingdom of God, and we strive to pursue it, but whether we do what God accepts, instead of doing a lot of false work. This chapter talks about the faith of God from the faith of the world, and mentions why God purifies our faith. To the final test of faith, I hope that everyone can live in Christ and become citizens of the kingdom of God.

  3. The faith of the world • Faith in the world must be visible or tangible. For example, if you say that the scenery of a place is beautiful, you must go and see it yourself. If your neighbor says something is delicious, you must go and eat it yourself. If a person is very capable, we have to test it. These are the standards of the world, so when we learn the Bible with the same attitude, we will have a lot of problems, because what we are facing belongs to the spiritual world. This is not something of the world

  4. GOD’s faith • Heb. 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” • 2Cor. 13:5 “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified.” • And God’s faith is invisible and intangible, just like Jesus Christ lives in us, how do you know? So God wants you to use this kind of faith so that you need to rely on Him and act in the Holy Spirit

  5. Contaminated faith • But people are unwilling or do not know how to change his thoughts and practices, so he reluctantly applies the words of the Bible using the world method. This becomes empty. Because, It looks like something of God on the outside, but if you carefully examine it, it is something of the world. However, there is an advantage in doing so, it is easy to explain to others, so that the next group of people can easily criticize people to do this God-like work.

  6. GOD purifies your faith • James. 1:2 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” • James. 1:3 “knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.” • James. 1:4 “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

  7. GOD purifies your faith • Thank God, because of his great mercy, he didn’t want us to do this kind of false faith, so he put us on trial and let us know that what we did was futile and only pursue his way was hope. We can repent and go on the right path, because he is unwilling to be stigmatized by his name, and he does not want his people to fall into the trap of the devil.

  8. The necessity of conversion/process • 2Cor. 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” • Rom. 14:23 “But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.” • 1Pet. 5:9 “Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”

  9. The necessity of conversion/process • We start walking the way of God, sometimes not because of faith, but because of benefit, such as being able to have an influence in the church, or there is a financial advantage, maybe because of a certain pastor we like it very much, sometimes because we like to have spiritual friends with a certain brother or sister. These are quite dangerous, because good things may turn into bad things. Anyone may fall spiritually, so get out of it as soon as possible. A kind of utilitarian thinking, but with only believe in the word of God

  10. Our faith • 1Tim. 1:5 “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,” • 1John. 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” • 1John. 5:4 “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.”

  11. Test of walking GOD’s way • James. 2:22 “Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?” • John. 14:23 “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” • If we have a real faith, Jesus Christ will live in us, then we know that our walking his way is showing up of real faith is acceptable to God
