  2. Preface • This chapter talks about how to implement 1 Corinthians 8:1. When we begin to do God’s will, the glory of God will be more abundant and unfold before us. What a joy, this chapter talks about what kind of preparations should be made, and then analyze that when you do this, you will be pleased by God, and you will be able to truly gain knowledge. It also mentions the effort required. At the same time, it also gives a practical example, hoping to practice 1 Corinthians 8:1, and not being swept away by the trends of the world

  3. Knowledge that is not obtained according to God's way is useless • 1Cor. 8:1 “Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. ” • Matt. 11:25 “At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.”

  7. The extend of effort • At present, the focus in the church is to read the Bible, keep reading, keep reading, and then claim that by doing so, you can understand God. But this kind of saying is to use the worldly method to do God’s work. If you look at the above example, We can know that this step requires very little effort, and when we are not biding in GOD’s word, the knowledge gained is not beneficial to us, and God’s intention is that not only we can do it ourselves, but also that we can bring others into the area of walking GOD’s way. In this way, we can truly glorify God and benefit others

God gives wisdom, knowledge and joy • Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom;  from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. • 3John. 4 “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” • Ecclesiastes 2:26 To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

  10. 1 Corinthians 8:1 practical example • A) Practice John 14:21 on the golden sentence, choose a golden sentence 1) look into the original word in depth, 2) and look up the words related to the Bible 3) enter into thinking about the scripture 4) meditate and practice the scripture • B) Join the Bible reading plan and read one chapter quickly, spending no more than half an hour • C) Listen to FM99.5 6-6:30AM, or 8-8:30 pm, listen to the whole Bible for every five years • D) Write or share the experience of practicing • A is the must, others can choose to do it, but B or C, once you start, you can’t stop until it’s done
