Water Base Screen Printing and Discharge Agents

Because water base screen printing alone cannot be used to decorate dark colored fabrics, an additional discharge agent is used along with the ink to produce soft-hand designs on such garments. This discharge agent first takes out the original dye of the fabric and then replaces the bleached areas with the pigments of the ink. No underbase is required in this method.
