Exploring the Classic and Problem-Solving Approaches in Metaphysics and Epistemology
This overview delves into two principal approaches in philosophy: the classic metaphysical approach and the problem-solving approach. It raises fundamental questions such as what is knowable and the search for ultimate truth. Concepts like ontology and epistemology are explored to understand the nature of knowledge and existence. Additionally, the discussion covers axiology, examining the nature of values through ethics and aesthetics. Emphasis is placed on how these philosophical inquiries impact education, learning theory, and practical application in real-world scenarios.
