Enhancing Protected Areas Database and Tools for Biodiversity Conservation

This seminar discusses technical considerations, database systems, and value-added tools to improve the World Database on Protected Areas and enhance biodiversity conservation efforts. It also highlights the Andes Amazon Protected Areas Database and activities undertaken to update and disseminate data online. Collaboration with various organizations and the use of custom-made tools for conservation areas management are also addressed.
