  3. OUR STOCKS • Apple- AAPL (+6.4%) • Dollar Tree- DLTR (+4.5%) • Starbucks- SBUX ( +21%) • Coke- KO ( +6.5%) • Power Shares- QQQ (-4%)

OUR STRATEGY • One of our team members looked at the paper the day we picked our stocks, and saw that most of our stocks were doing well, so we picked them. • For Apple we bet that the “New Ipad” would be a huge success. • We bought and held all of our stocks even if they were going down. • During the end of the game we got greedy and bought, with the rest of our money, shares of QQQ. That did not work.

  5. WHAT WE LEARNED • We learned that making any investment in any stock is always a gamble. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. • That being greedy can hurt you. • We bought QQQ at the very end in hopes that we would increases our equity, but we ended up taking a hit. • Rather than to use our gut feelings, we relied mostly on expert opions.
