Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha www.presidentofindia.nic.in • Started TIFR • Research Focus on Nuclear Science and Mathematical Science • Established Atomic Energy Commission • Vision to transform nuclear science to • nuclear technology, • nuclear power, • nuclear devices and • nuclear medicine • Today we have Nuclear power to 4000 Mega watts. • 2010 – 7000 megawatts • 2020 – 20,000 megawatts

Indian Space Visionary - Prof Vikram Sarabhai www.presidentofindia.nic.in • Established PRL in Ahmedabad with Space Research as Focus • He unfurled the Space Mission for India in 1970 – Today India can launch any type of satellite and any type of launch Vehicle • Today India with 20,000 Scientific, Technological and Support staff and 300 support industries and academic institutions • Uninhabited island converted into a World class space centre VISION To Reality
