  18. 2012 Highlights • Two homicides: • March 7th - Henry Deniger arrested in St. Cloud, MN for the murder of his wife Kathy on March 6, 2012. • July 10th - Murder-Suicide - Daniel Williams believed to have killed himself after shooting his wife Linda in their south Fargo home the weekend of July 7th. • Bank Robberies: • December 17th - Gate City Bank – 1501 South University Drive. Timothy McKenna was arrested on December 19th , less than 48-hours after the robbery. • January 8th - Cornerstone Bank – 2627 University Drive South. Abraham Wilson was apprehended in Moorhead, MN within an hour of robbery following a short vehicle pursuit. Wilson was also linked to the January 6, 2013 robbery of the 12th Avenue North Stop N Go. • January 11th – Search warrant executed at south Fargo home relative to a child pornography investigation. Officers seized various computers and electronic devices containing more than 200,000 images and 500 videos. John Ehlen arrested and prosecuted federally.

  19. May 24 – Undercover prostitution sting resulted in arrest of Chad Lee Lindley of Fargo. In addition to Lindley attempting to solicit an undercover police informant for prostitution, further investigation revealed Lindley was engaged in human trafficking (17-year old female identified as engaging in unlawful sexual conduct.) • July 9 –Burglary at Bergstrom Electric resulted in loss of over $70,000 in copper wire. Suspect Soran Koreen Kaka tracked to Bismarck on August 2nd where he committed another burglary. Kaka followed back to Fargo by investigators where he was arrested. • September 21st - Downtown surveillance cameras installed in the 600 Block of NP Avenue. Since installation, Part I crimes reduced in that area (28 crimes previous year, 4 crimes since.)
