  2. What is it • Choose a photo you want to sharpen • Make a layer copy in case you mess up • Sharpening- it creats a sharpennes of illusion by lighting the pixels on one side and darking on the other side.

  3. Steps • On layer copy apply high pass filter in photoshop found under filter ,other, high pass. • Change blend mode to overlay then photo is completely sharpened.

  4. When to do • When a picture a picture turns out bad when taken.

  5. How to do in gimp • Pick photo • Make a copy first • Under filter tab- enhance sharpen
