  • Recommend an academic structure for preparation of undergraduate students for careers and graduate study in fields related to geospatial information science and engineering
  • Recommend an academic structure for preparation of graduate students for careers and research in fields related to geospatial information science and engineering
  • Identify key issues that will need to be addressed, including academic models for faculty affiliation, administrative structure, development and oversight of undergraduate and graduate curricula, policies related to admission of graduate students, and financial models for teaching, advising, administration, and staffing
  • Timeline:
    • Preliminary report due by April 1
    • Final report due by May 1
