  3. Location and Surroundings Distance from Colombo: 90 km Average Drive Time: 2:15 hrs You would find the village hamlet of Wadakada off Narammala Rd, Polgahawela,in the district of Kurunegala . The resort is situated inside a large coconut estate amidst hundreds of acres of greenery. It is built on top of a hillock with beautiful scenery right around. If you wake up early enough and climb on to the roof-top you would witness the mist setting in the mountains.

  4. Environment This is your ideal hideout, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Once you are in the resort you do not notice a single concrete structure in the surroundings. Birds Park offers a very unhurried, informal atmosphere. There is a small water fall and a stream down the estate. You could do a hike if interested and have a dip in the shallow waters at the base of the fall. Bird Lovers may find the estate and its surrounding environment interesting enough to pursue their passion in birds.

  5. Rooms There are six air conditioned rooms in the resort, which includes two family rooms and four double rooms. All the spacious, airy rooms open up to the gardens through large french windows. The small size of the resort invites for small private outings where you could book the entire resort for yourself.

  6. Swimming Pool and other indoor activities The swimming pool is built along with the natural rock and overlooks the rocky vegetation around. An early morning dip in the pool amidst the chirp and chatter of the vast variety of birds, or a sun dip at mid morning, or an evening in the pool and a barbecue by the side …it is just a matter of choice. Board games, Badminton or Pony rides offer you a choice to keep you and the kids occupied, while the adventure seekers go on nature trails through acres of estate vegetation .

  7. Food & Dining The cuisine in Bird park is Sri Lankan. Barbecue meals can be arranged in the evenings in the gardens or by the pool. You could bring your own liquor, while we provide you with accompaniments to chill out over a drink. The restaurant built on the upper elevation of the resort, overlooks miles of vegetation, forests and mountains.
