European Student Earth Orbiter (ESEO) - CubeSat for Thermosphere Research

The ESEO CubeSat is designed for in-situ measurements in the lower thermosphere and re-entry research. It includes AMSAT subsystems and payloads, and is part of the QB50 international network. The project requires collaboration on communication, ground station, and AMSAT/IARU issues. The mission timeline includes funding application, workshops, and launch preparations.

  9. QB50 QB50, an international network of 50 CubeSats for multi-point, in-situ measurements in the lower thermosphere and re-entry research Communication “issues”:How much data to downloadWhich band(s)?Telecommanding legal requirement?Telecommanding practical need?Modulation methodologies? Risk of mutual QRMUse of “spread spectrum”? Use of time division multiplexing?Could it use the whole 435-438MHz allocation?
