  2. دُعَاؤُهُإِذَاقُتِّرَعَلَيْهِالرِّزْقُدُعَاؤُهُإِذَاقُتِّرَعَلَيْهِالرِّزْقُ His Supplication when his Provision was Stinted

  3. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate

  4. èkáäÇádâÆãÁBáäÑèkáäÇádâÆÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB O Alláh bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

  5. أَللَّهُمَّ إنَّكَ ابْتَلَيْتَنَا فِي أَرْزَاقِنَا بِسُوءِ الظَّنِّ O God, Thou hast tried us with distrust in our provisions

  6. وَفِي آجَالِنَا بِطُولِ الأمَلِ and the expectation of long lives

  7. حَتَّى الْتَمَسْنَا أَرْزَاقَكَ مِنْ عِنْدِ الْمَرْزُوقِينَ، until we begged for provisions from those who are provided

  8. وَطَمِعْنَا بِآمَالِنَا فِي أَعْمَارِ الْمُعَمَّرِينَ. and craved in our expectations the life-spans of the long-lived!

  9. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، So bless Muhammad and his Household

  10. وَهَبْ لَنَا يَقِيناً صَادِقاً تَكْفِينا بِهِ مِنْ مَؤونَةِ الطَّلَبِ، give us a true certainty that will suffice us the burden of seeking,

  11. وَأَلْهِمْنَا ثِقَةً خَالِصَةً تُعْفِينَا بِهَا مِنْ شِدَّةِ النَّصَبِ، and inspire us with a sincere trust that will release us from the hardship of exertion!

  12. وَاجْعَلْ مَا صَرَّحتَ بِهِ مِنْ عِدَتِكَ فِي وَحْيِكَ، Let Thy clear promise in Thy Revelation

  13. وَأَتْبَعْتَهُ مِنْ قَسَمِكَ فِي كِتَابِكَ which Thou hast followed in Thy Book with Thy oath

  14. قَاطِعاً لاهْتِمَامِنَا بِالرِّزْقِ الَّـذِيْ تَكَفَّلْتَ بِهِ cut off our worry about the provision for which Thou hast made Thyself responsible

  15. وَحَسْمَاً لِلاشْتِغَالِ بِمَا ضَمِنْتَ الْكِفَايَةَ لَهُ، and sever our occupation with everything whose sufficiency Thou hast guaranteed!

  16. فَقُلْتَ وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ الاصْـدَقُ For Thou hast said - and Thy word is the most truthful truth

  17. وَأَقْسَمْتَ وَقَسَمُكَ الأَبَرُّ الأَوْفى: and Thou hast sworn - and Thy oath is the most kept and fulfilled

  18. ( وَفِي السَّمَاءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ ) "In the heaven are your provision and everything you are promised" (51:22)!

  19. ثُمَّ قُلْتَ: ( فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ إنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَّكُمْ تَنْطِقُوْنَ ). And then Thou hast said, "So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech" (51:23)!
