Khadi is a fabric from India’s golden past. It is one of the original fabrics of India where cotton was woven into yarn by a hand spun wheel and then fabric was woven.Mahatma Gandhi promoted the khadi culture back in India when the British were trying to get nylon and polyester from the west.

  • Cotton is woven into yarn by a hand spun wheel
  • Its texture remains unique due to it being hand woven and cannot be copied by any fabric as such
  • Because of so many innovations with technology it is in vogue all over the world and used by many designers.
