Sarkis Khoury

Sarkis Joseph Khoury Ph.D. also known as Joe Khoury Ph.D. is a retired Professor of Finance and International Finance from The University of California- Riverside. He was also the Executive Director of The Foundation for Research in International Banking and Finance and was the Editor in Chief of its journal: AIIBF. He was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Board of Trade.<br>Joe Khoury Ph.D. served for several years as a weekly commentator on KWHY television (the first All Business Channel) until it was sold in 2000. Joe Khoury Ph.D. was active in specialized consulting dealing with a wide range of valuation issues, especially those relating to forensic cases.<br>Joe Khoury Ph.D. has lectured all over the world (45 countries and counting) on a wide range of financial/ economic/political and strategic issues.<br>Joe Khoury Ph.D. has authored or edited twenty-four books and monographs dealing with corporate finance, valuation models (domestic and international), international banking and international finance, foreign exchange markets, investment issues, and economic policy. He has published numerous articles (over 40) many appearing in leading journals in the United States and other countries. The articles cover a wide range of financial and economic issues. His most recent book (2020) dealt with the economic crisis in Lebanon and argued for full dollarization.<br>Joe Khoury Ph.D. earned his Ph.D. in International Finance fromu00a0The Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania. His dissertation wonu00a0first Prizeu00a0in an international competition conducted by the Academy of International Business. He has recently received the Roseland Award for outstanding scholarship. <br>Dr. Khoury is currently the Executive Producer and host of a TV show: The Conservative Edge.   2. The National Association of Scholars (NAS) issued a report in 2020 after an a exhaustive investigation of the issues that followed the retirement of Dr Khoury from UC –Riverside. The report exonerated Dr Khoury and requested that the university takes corrective actions.
