This will also be a daily academic grade in my grade book. You will be following the complete writing process. As we view the videos start thinking about why you are proud to be an American. Complete the following graphic organizer to help start the writing process.

    7. Directions for rough draft: You will be using your essay graphic organizer to write your rough draft. Intro Paragraph: Lead-in, Thesis Statement, Closing Sentence Main Body Paragraph: T.S = square from your graphic organizer C.D.= supporting detail from first circle E.S.= tell your audience more about the C.D.
