MCH Epidemiology Program • Staff alumni and adjunct in MCH section • Serve as a Laboratory for the MCH MPH program • Provide hands on skill building workshops and seminars • Provide practicum projects for dedicated MCH Epidemiology students • Provided funding for students to complete internships in MCH Epi Section • Stable student volunteers supporting daily activities and special events • Establishing regional network in MCH

La OPH MCH Pipeline • Student internship and work-study program coordinated by La OPH paid core faculty member. • Pre Katrina 75-65 internship annually • Title V virtual tour • Collaborate on OPH orientation • Standardizing the MCH practicum • Enhancing skill building with abstract writing and poster presentation
