  2. Products under evaluation Convective Nearcast Two week long evaluation as part of Aviation Weather Testbed Summer Experiment. Concludes today (22 July). Report expected in August. Ralph Petersen and Jordan Gerth traveled to AWC in May to provide guidance and training.

  4. In the queue • UWCI; Low Clouds and Fog • Receiving data, but resources not available until mid-August to place display on testbed systems. • Access help for Low Clouds and Fog provided by Jordan Gerth during May visit. • GOES-R champion position • Announcement closes 1 August. • Expect consistent progress after champion arrives.

  5. Evaluations • CI products evaluated this summer during Aviation Weather Testbed’s summer experiment • A component of a larger effort called Integrated Decision Support Experiments (IDSE) • Seeks to identify meteorologist role to air traffic control/management and safety of flight through used of state-of-the-art information
