OFFENSIVE FIRE ATTIC FIR TEACHING POINTS • Stay under good trusses. • Make inspection holes as you advance, no need to drop entire ceiling. • Early vertical ventilation. • Do not use PPV. • Be aware of attic separations. Just because there is no signs of fire under your inspection hole doesn’t mean there is not fire in another part of the attic.
