  1. Inclusion of persons with disabilities in culture in Sweden and competencies required to work artistically with this target group Folkuniversitetet in Uppsala Barcelona 20 June 2019

  2. The LawofSupport and Service (LSS 1993:387) 1. Persons with intellectual disabilities and people with autism or conditions similar to autism. 2. Persons with significant and permanent intellectual functional disabilities following brain damage as an adult. 3. Persons, who as a result of other serious and permanent functional disabilities, which are clearly not the result of normal ageing, have considerable difficulties in everyday life and great need of support or service.

Provides ten forms ofassistance • Advice and other personal support • Personal assistance • Companion service • Contact person • Relief service • Short term stays away from home • Short term care for school children over 12 • Living in family homes or housing with special services for children and young people • Housing with special services for adults or other specially adapted housing for adults • Daily activities

  4. Daily activities • Overall goal: developing the individual’sopportunities for work in the shorter and longer term. • Provided by municipalities and NGOs

  5. Similar tasks as in the regular labor market but with support and care • Tailored the person's individual needs • Group- or individual placements at companies • Developing the participants’ opportunities for gainful employment

Demonstrates the ability toeffectively teach skills to people supported • Recognizes the individual’sneed for teaching, and preferred style for learning, and can performindividualized teaching based on thisinformation • Assesses the effectiveness of formal and informal teaching provided and makes adaptations where needed • Supports the individual bybeing knowledgeable about the careerand employment goals of theindividual • Continuously sharesobservations, insights, and recommendations with the individual and his/her support team

Accessibility in museums • Project: Everyone on board! – the salutogenic museum Three core values: • UN Convention on the Rights of the Child • A salutogenic basic perspective • A socio-cultural perspective The project is now part of the Vasa museum’s regular pedagogical activities and at the playwriting and rehabilitation activities at Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital in Huddinge and Solna.

  24. Competence and skills in accessibility • TAKE PLACE! An art project, exhibition and educationalproject. Led by the organizationPeople’s Movements for Art Promotion. Book about the project and accessibility.

If art contains audio tracks, specify/describe it in the information about the work. The text shouldbe availablefor reading. • Wheelchairs All pointsof the room/the art works must be accessible with wheelchair. Information placed at suitableheight for reading or feeling (iftactile). Brochures and maps at accessibleheight as well.
