  3. Physical Characteristics • The polar bear is the largest and longest bear in the world • Polar bears have 42 teeth • They have 2 kinds of fur one is right on top of the skin and is heavier than the lighter one on top • There fur is clear color not white

  4. Interesting facts/special features Polar bears do not hibernate but they do something called winter sleep Females are called sows and males are called boars They have a very good sense of smell

  5. A Polar bear’s diet Polar bears eat meat They mostly eat seals and sometimes walruses And other underwater animals

  6. A polar bear’s habitat Polar bears live in icy areas They live in Alaska , Canada, Greenland, and Norway Most of the time they are swimming in frigid water

  7. Polar bear I chose a polar bear because I knew they were endangered and I wanted to learn more about them. Also because they can be cute and dangerous at the same time and that’s what I like about it. They are not dangerous all the time but they don’t let you come near them that much either They are so cool!!!!!!!!!
