  1. Planning/NEPA Forum: Cooperating Agency and Coordination (July 26, 2012) Select NEPA Handbook to watch videos. This broadcast is another in a series of Planning/NEPA Forums, presented by the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) National Training Center (NTC). These forums cover current and important planning- or NEPA- related topics. This program was originally broadcast on July 26, 2012. Topic: Cooperating Agency and Coordination. Length: 90 minutes. Description: During this broadcast, an expert panel discussed the recent changes in the Cooperating Agency Desk Guide, benefits and challenges of engaging cooperating agencies, how to establish a relationship with a cooperating agency, the eligibility requirements, memorandum of understanding and memorandum of agreement, coordination vs cooperation, governor’s consistency review, training and other resources. There is a Q&A session with the viewers, followed by a short conclusion. Target Audience: This broadcast is for BLM employees who work with cooperating agencies, cooperating agencies that work with BLM, and agencies considering becoming a cooperating agency. Expert Panel: Mike Pool, BLM Acting Director; Horst Greczmiel, Council on Environmental Quality; Chris Carlton, Wyoming BLM; Matthew Higdon, BLM Washington office; and host Cynthia Moses-Nedd, BLM Washington office.
