  3. 6 Steps • Get Access Code • Get Current Information • Logon to Online Recharter website • Complete the 5 Stages online • Print the recharter application (save as PDF) • Get necessary signatures • Submit Recharter Application to Council

  4. Timeline • 60 Days Prior to Charter Expiration • Select Unit Renewal Processor • Renewal Processor begins online process within 15 days • As soon as Online Recharter process is complete obtain required signatures • Online Recharter is not available for update after charter expiration date • 30 Days after charter expiration date, online recharter system is no longer accessible • 60 Days after charter expiration date, unit is dropped

  5. 5 Stages of Online Recharter • Load Roster • Update Roster • Check Roster • Update Fee • Submit Roster

  6. Latest Online Updates • Application has been updated • Expired Scout Parent can be assigned to a new position • Scout Parent Coordinator position now Parent Coordinator • Registration Fees are $24 for all units expiring 12/31/2013 and after • Navigation Remains Unchanged

  7. Latest Online Updates • Internet Explorer 9 and lower is the supported browser • Chrome, Firefox and Safari are NOT supported • If using IE 10 or newer then change it for compatibility mode

  8. Latest Online Updates • New Positions: • Unit Scouter Reserve • Unit College Scouter Reserve • Venturing College Scouter Reserve for crews and ships

  9. Latest Online Updates • Online Access Timing: • Online Access 1st Day of month before month charter expiration • On Charter Expiration Date Unit is considered lapsed • Online Access ends on last day of month following charter expiration
