Top 5 Compensation Checks • Assess business achievement against company objectives & goals • Prepare for annual bonus payouts, LTI grants, merit increases • Prepare for discussion with business leaders – analyze ROI on incentive programs. Is it working? Are changes needed? • Ensure data accuracy and integrity • Timing of data collection into spreadsheet or administration tool • Validation of employee records (base salary, employment status, incentive plan type and target percent, location, manager, job code/job title, etc.) • Validate job-related data points • Job descriptions, job matches, FLSA exemption and job classification • Employees classified in correct jobs • Update salary structures/pay ranges

Top 5 Compensation Checks • Collect information for proxy statement (DEF 14A) • Board compensation • Executive compensation • Total rewards and pay philosophy • Align total rewards programs with business objectives and strategy • Redesign or change incentive programs • Communication strategy and communication materials • Prioritize compensation initiatives and projects
