  1. How Long of a Period Should I Take Whey Protein for the Best Results It depends on your goal – are you looking to lose weight, or gain muscle? Or do you have some other goal? It also depends on the protein powder you are having. The market has many popular brands like MB, ON, Nutrabay, etc. Examples are MyProtein Impact Whey Isolate (Unflavoured), MuscleBlaze Raw Whey Protein (Unflavoured), etc. Important Points While Buying Protein Powder: Scoop Size: It differs from product to product. Some products have a scoop size of 30g, while others have 25g. They also ask people to add different scoops to their shakes. Protein Content: It is different for each product. Always find out the protein content in a scoop of powder. If it is too less, the rest of it might be fillers or carbs. So always find out before starting anything. Ingredients: The ingredients include the protein source, additive list, and other details. Read it carefully before buying a product. Protein powders sometimes have refined sugar in them. Some brands also tend to add artificial sweeteners (saccharin, aspartame, etc.) These are best avoided. It always helps to check the ingredients of the product. Some products contain things such as vegetable oils, and fats. They can be harmful and can increase your calorie intake.
