  1. Can We Mix Creatine and BCAA in One Shake and Take It Before Workout Whey protein is obtained from milk and is said to have 9 essential amino acids. Whey protein and casein are the two proteins found in milk. BCAA stands for Branched Chain Amino Acid and there are three important BCAAs – Valine, Leucine and Isoleucine. Creatine helps with muscle growth and repair. Taking anything in excess might not be helpful and you should ask a nutritionist before starting anything. Selecting the best whey protein with BCAA in India is confusing. Let us take the example of whey protein. If you have whey isolate then you are consuming more protein than if you have whey concentrate. So, 1 scoop of concentrate will have less protein than 1 scoop of isolate. Concentrate will have more carbohydrates and fats compared to isolate. If you live a sedentary lifestyle and don’t exercise a lot or at all, then you could put on weight by having a lot of protein shakes and protein supplements since these powders have added ingredients and additives in them. If you are lactose intolerant, then avoid milk protein – whey protein and casein. You can go for options like: 1. Rice protein 2. Pea protein 3. Plant protein 4. Soy protein 5. Protein from fish and meat 6. Quinoa protein
