Project Building Applicants contact National Agency Electronic Submission of PROPOSAL to ETB Office Deadline: 27 April 2009 Project Planning Eligibility Check International Technological and Economic Evaluation ETB Recommendation for Funding September 2009 National Funding Decision From October 2009 Project Start EUROTRANS-BIO 4th Call Application Procedure EUROTRANS-BIO 4th Call Key-data The EUROTRANS-BIO Initiative Call opens January 7th 2009 The 4th joint call for international projects of the EUROTRANS-BIO initiative will open on January 7th 2009. The deadline for submitting proposals is April 27th 2009. Funding will be offered to excellent innovative industrial R&D and applied research projects in all fields of biotechnology. Consortia consisting of at least two SMEs from two different participating countries can apply for ETB funding. The overall budget of the call is more than 30 million Euros. Each applicant should have contacted his/her national funding agency before submitting. EUROTRANS-BIO (ETB) was established as an ERA-NET initiative of the European Commission. EUROTRANS-BIO is an initiative between government research and development funding bodies in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Basque Country and Catalonia and Madrid (Spain), Flanders and Wallonia (Belgium). EUROTRANS-BIO’sgoal is to establish cross-border partnerships between SMEs, improve and accelerate technology transfer, strengthen European efforts to achieve sustainable industrial development in the field of biotechnology. EUROTRANS-BIO launches common calls for industry-driven trans-national R&D projects to create an integrated funding programme for biotech SMEs. Since 2004 three common calls with an overall budget of >104 Mio € have been implemented. http://www.eurotransbio.net
