  2. Course Description 1 • This is a broad overview of MISO’s Transmission Service Registration process. The following slides present a high-level overview of transmission service options and some potential impacts. 2 • This presentation is intended for those individuals seeking a basic understanding of MISO’s Transmission Service Registration process and is not intended to expand into detail on the concepts presented here. 3 • For additional detail and training, interested parties should reference the TSR integration document that is posted on the MISO OASIS node. This includes additional detail that expands on this presentation’s content. 4 • Frequently used terminology, along with reference-links to MISO documentation and contacts, is included in this presentation.

ARR / FTR and TSR Integration FTRs / ARRs are Awarded Through a Series of Processes… • The Monthly FTR Auction follows the Annual FTR Auction which follows the Annual ARR Allocation. • MISO first runs a Simultaneous Feasibility Test (SFT) to award ARRs for all 4 seasons, Peak and Off-Peak • Auctions are conducted for Peak and Off-Peak for each of four seasons • After the Annual FTR Auction, the Monthly FTR Auction is held
