  3. Websites are credible if… They don’t have bias. This means that the author doesn’t influence the reader in an unfair way. The article on this website influences the reader to believe that candy is good. This article does not show bias; it simply states the facts about candy.

  4. Websites are credible if… Information is current. This means that the website’s author updated the information recently. For example, if you are looking for a news story, you’ll want one that has been recently updated. Not one that was updated a few years ago.

  5. Good websites also… Are not too hard or too easy to read. Do not contain too many or inappropriate ads.
