Our View Point
We see the Mountain Peaks & Valleys from the side,
And so we can separate the 1st & 2nd Coming Prophecies
Created by Clarence Larkin
The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me; because He has anointed me to preach good news unto the poor,
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,
To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor,…”
.....and the day of
vengeance of our
God; to comfort
all who mourn:
“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; Your sons and daughters will prophecy, your old men will dream dreams, your
young men will see visions.
Even on the servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days…
.....and I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”
“.....and the government
will be on his shoulder; and He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
“Of the increase of his
government and peace there
will be no end, He will reign on David throne, and over his
Kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.”
For unto us a child
is born, unto us a
son is given: ......
“.....And he will proclaim
peace unto the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.”
Rejoice greatly, O daughter
of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! See, your King comes to you; righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey......
