Completion in 20w with milestones • Week 1-2: Draft 1 (chair) from written contributions provided by peer reviewers during the site-visit & report-writing meeting • Week 3-4: (reviewers in the team) respond with written comments & suggestions based on record of DE • Week 4: Draft 2 (chair) Send to QAAP forward to independent editor suggestions will be made to chair

Completion in 20w with milestones • Week 6: Draft 3 sent to QAAP checked & sent to the institution with a covering letter inviting it to comment matters of factual accuracy Institution should respond within 2 weeks to QAAP • Week 8: Draft 3 returned by institution to QAAP • QAAP will seek views of review chair in considering any response

Completion in 20w with milestones • Week 12: Draft 4 QAAP may engage a professional editor to ensure its consistence with its policy • Week 20: Final draft 5 will be translated 0n A&E & QAAP will make it available to institution, reviewer chair & peer reviewers • Report is not published & remain confidential within the institution, its university, QAAP & Peer review team

Characteristics of Review Process • All institutions are treated equally. • Respects the institution’s mission and chosen aims • Conforms with protocols outlined in handbook • Carried out by peers • Is collegial in nature and constructive • Is open and transparent • Good preparation by all parties is absolutely essential

  26. Tips of good peer-reviewing • Work with the spirit of a team work. • Have a consensuses . • We are not inspectors . • We help the Faculty to have successful DE phase that will end in accreditation. • Respect the Faculty’s pride. • Do not suggest any solutions for the Faculty.

  27. Tips of good peer-reviewing • Communicate through the e-mail properly. • Be sure about your conclusions and have an evidence for each. • Be sure that the report is correct, clear, fair, and balanced. • Editing. • Be ready to do the correction needed to release the second , third and final report.
