EVC Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILO) • Social Responsibility • Spring 2012: Student self-assessment survey 821 responses • Majority of students indicate social responsibility • 91% understand impact of broad social issues on society • 81% possess traits of civically responsible citizens • Recommendations: • Modify survey to include more examples to clarify & limited “undecided” responses • Offer variety of activities that celebrate diversity and team building: community service projects • Personal Development • Assessment timeline underway
