Recent Updates to SQF • Strong Growth in First Half 2009 • Growth of certifications in North America has grown by over 400% in 2009 to over 1500 certificates • Australia growth at over 20% to over 1800 registrations • Overall growth at 130% globally • SQF certificates now in 29 countries • SQF has now registered 357 auditors • Improvements in Audit Reports • Timelines – audit reports now due to supplier in 5 days, certificates in 45 days • Comments – every question must have justification of rating given

SQF Australia Representation • SQFI has entered into an agreement with Advancing Food Safety Pty Ltd (AFS) to represent the SQF program in Australia and Asia • Contract starts August 15th, 2009 • Main objectives of Regional Representative • Support Australian SQF Stakeholders • Grow SQF in new Asia / Pacific markets (China, Japan) • The SQF Representative role will be independent of AFS’s other training and conference activities.

  21. Site Registration & Re-Registration (i) Sites now need to re-register annuallyBefore a site registration expires its registration will need renewing. Do NOT confuse Site Registration status with Certificate status.Note that a sites first Registration Expiry date is created when they are first Certified and is set as the same date as the Certification Expiry date. (This could be 18mths after the site has originally registered) From this point there is no relationship between the Certification and the Site Registration cycle.

Site Registration & Re-Registration (ii) • Control points in place where a Sites Registration has expired • A sites certification and associated data is removed from Level 1 report and other reports • Expired sites displayed with strikethrough and access removed for the sites profile on Quickfire Office for the CB and Site users. • The sites data would also be filtered out of any reports available to users via Quickfire Web Reports. Note that: Existing PAF uploads would be permitted At any point during the Registration Renewal Period or after the Site has Expired the Site can be re-registered.

  26. Audit Annotation Annotations are a means for the Auditor and the CB file reviewer to communicate throughout the file review process. Annotations are only available to the CB users and Auditors and are not on Audit reports or available to the Site Users. Questions with annotations are highlighted in the tree.

  27. Audit Check In/Out Required due to users now being able to complete an audit entirely online the check In/Check Out feature ensures Audit Data integrity and that no edit conflicts can occur. When a PAF is created it is automatically Checked out. When an Audit is to be edited online via the Online Audit Data View it must first be Checked out for edit.   32. SQFI Quickfire Roadmap PAF Reader Professional With the introduction of addendums there may be a requirement for Auditors to open more than one audit and complete in parallel. PAF Reader Professional is soon to be developed that will support this. Note PAF Professional will have additional features and a small licence fee may be required for its use. Pocket PAF Reader Pocket PAF Reader will allow PAFs to be opened on a Pocket PC device PaffletsA Pafflet is a section of a PAF. A PAF may be diseminated into 2 or more Pafflets to allow different auditors to complete a large audit simultaneously.

  33. SQFI Quickfire Roadmap PAF Reader Auto Save PAF Reader to auto save. Pre-defined CA Deadlines based on Primary Repsonse Would set a CA deadline to now() plus x days based on response intensity. Batch Certification ProcessSupport for Multi-site Certifications – so that many Certificates can be set up for a Suppliers linked child sites on block.
