  6. Spring Spring rain helps to give animals a drink and plants to grow.

  7. Spring In Spring, birds and insects fly from flower to flower.

  8. Summer Summer runs through December, January and February each year.

  9. Summer In Summer, we have long, hot days. The sun shines a lot and we can get sunburned!

  10. Summer In Summer, summer fruit and vegetables are ready to be picked. Some summer fruit are melons and peaches – yum!

  11. Summer In Summer, there are many bees and butterflies flying from flower to flower.

  12. Autumn • Autumn runs through March, April and May each year.

  13. Autumn In Autumn, the days get cooler and windy. Sometimes it rains in Autumn.

  15. Autumn Autumn is a good time for picking winter fruit and vegetables.

  19. Winter In Winter, we must wear warm clothes to stay warm and dry.

  20. Winter In Winter, some animals hibernate, which means they go for a very long sleep over Winter. Bears hibernate every Winter.

  21. Winter Winter fruit and vegetables include pears, berries and pumpkin.
