Brushing your teeth The use of your toothbrush is the most effective method to prevent plaque. Brushing your teeth should take about 2 minutes.
How to brush your teeth Place a small amount of toothpaste, with fluoride, on your toothbrush. Place your toothbrush where your gum and teeth meet. Make gentle up-and-down or side-to-side movements with the brush.
How to brush your teeth 3. Brush all the surfaces of your teeth. 4. Remember to brush your tongue.
Dental Floss Don’t forget to floss between your teeth at least once a day.
