  3. Digital Modules Analog Modules Temperature & Humidity Modules Functional Modules Communication Modules

  4. Expansion Modules connection modes • Haiwell Modules-2 kinds of connection modes • Modules can be directly hung behind the host PLC to achieve expansion, with the parallel port connection. • Single host PLC can be expanded up to 7 modules in maximum(of which up to 3 communication modules)

  5. Expansion Modules connection modes • As remote modules, Haiwell modules exchange data with host PLC by 485 network communication mode to achieve expansion, with the communication line connection. • One communication port can be expanded with multiple modules

  6. DT-Digital Temperature &Humidity Modules • Haiwell digital temperature & humidity modules have 2 kinds of models: H04DT、H32DT,they can be used as expansion modules for any host PLC. • The H32DT temperature expansion module with RS485 communication port, can be used as a remote IO module; H04DT can measure temperature and humidity.

  7. H04DT-Temperature &Humidity Module • The following we will introduce the expansion mode that expansion modulescan be hung directly • behind the host PLC to achieve expansion, for example, one host PLC can be expanded with one • H04DT module. H04DT module supports 4-channel DS18B20 temperature sensor、RW1820 temperature sensor、DS1990 sensor and SHT1X/SHT7X temperature-humidity sensor, with the function of measuring temperature and humidity simultaneously. It can be used to accurately measure the temperature and humidity within the range of 200 meters, and the collecting values of temperature and humidity are without error. Moroever, H04DT can be used as an expansion module for any host PLC, with conversion accuracy of 9-12 bits.

  9. H04DT Module hardware configuration Select the “PLC hardware configuration” to add the module Select the “PLC hardware configuration” to add the module Right-click in the blank to add the required modules

  10. H04DT Module hardware configuration select the signal type of you want to configure choose the conversion accuracy zero correction

  11. For example, we connect channel 1 of H04DT to a DS18B20 sensor and channel 3 to a SHT10 sensor. After downloading the configuration of H04DT into the PLC, from the monitoring program we can see that the channels of AI0 and AI2 have real-time display values. The temperature datasare returned by the two sensors. You can directly use the two registers of AI0 and AI2. Use the component status table to view Use the monitoring window to view

  12. We have access to a temperature and humidity sensor SHT10, but we only read the temperature in the AI2, • then how to read the humidity measured by SHT10? • For this special case, we need to use the FROM instruction to read the humidity value which is inside the • register of SHT10. • Let's take a brief look at the FROM instruction

  13. EN - Enable:FROM will be executed when getting power, usually communication instructions should always keep the state of power supply. • slot - Module position number:The position number of module located behind the PLC. • CR - CR register be read:The register address which we want to read. • N - Number of CR be read:The register number which we want to read • ENO - Enable output:Instruction execution condition. • OUT- Return start componet:The read back data storedinto the register..

  14. Use FROM to read the humidity value of the SHT10 sensor H04DT is the first module behind the host plc, so fill 1 in the slot According to the parameter information of module, the CR number of the humidity register of channel 3 is 22 Read the humidity value and store it in V100, humidity value: 30% Read 1 register The above demo is the usage method that expansion module H04DT connectswith host PLC by the parallel line.

  15. H32DT-Temperature Module • For a better understanding about how to set the parameters when the modules are used as remote • IO, the following we will take one H32DT as the remote IO module, to show the expansion mode • and configuration parameters of remote modules. The digital temperature module of H32DT which supports 32-channel DS18B20 temperature sensor, RW1820 temperature sensor, DS1990 sensor is built-in RS485 communication port which can support remote function and be used as a remote IO module; It is widely used in coal mining, tunnels, refrigeration, libraries, archives and other multi-point temperature measurement environment and other environmental testing system.

  21. Module station number setting • Set the remote module station number (also called station address, communication address) via the 4-bit DIP • switch on the hardware. Legal station number is 1 ~ 254 (0 is broadcast address). 4-bit DIP switch can be used • to express the decimal number 1 to 15 (binary number from 0001 to 1111), through the DIP switch to modify the • station number as follow: • If the hard address expressed by the 4-bit DIP switch is not available or the module does not have a DIP • switch, you can set the station number via the programming software. After online with the module, you can • modify the module station number in "Address" of " Communication parameter " column, then click " • Parameter download" to change the module station number.

  22. then click the parameter download You can modify the communication parameters in the communication parameter column. For example, if you want to change the station address to 8, then directly enter the address 8 Pop-up “download the parameter finished” indicates that parameters have been modified successfully.

  23. Sensors configuration export • When the H32DT module is actually accesswith the sensors, we can see the serial number of actual access sensors. • After using more sensors in the field and the positions have been fixed, you can save the configuration table by export, • so that the positions of sensors and the registers are kept corresponding to facilitate on-site maintenance.

  24. Click the “Export” button to pop up the export window Select the path to save and click “Save”

  25. Sensor configuration import • If you need to import the configuration table into the temperature module, click the “Import” button, find the • configuration file to be imported, then click “Open”.

  30. Load Cell Module Load Cell Module principle When the metal material is subjected to pulling or tension, the metal material becomes thinner, and the electrical impedance increases. Likewise if the metal material is compressed, the metal impedance decreases. The weighing module is a strain gauge using this theory. This kind of sensor can transform the physical pressure into electrical signals, so it is often used in load cell, tension, pressure occasions. Introduction of Load Cell Module Haiwell load cell module H01WG, H02WG, provides 24-bit high resolution, supports multi-segment calibration, supports 4-wire and 6-wire weighing sensors, can adjust the reaction speed to meet the needs of customers, can meet the need of the majority of the current load application market.
