Progress in HAF in CMSSW Validation with WZ Sample at University of Zagreb

Validation of HAF in CMSSW at University of Zagreb includes testing with WZ samples, advancements in electron and muon default lists, updated TGCElectronSelector, improvements in Muon isolation variables, and successful MCTruthSelector and Jets. Challenges like GetDca() requirement for WZ analysis and HLT integration remain. Collaboration enhances daily progress.

HAF in CMSSW Ming has produced 10k WZ sample at IN2P3 (Lyon) HAF (V00-04-00) has been tested in CMSSW_1_2_0 with WZ sample It works also in CMSSW_1_2_2 but with different tag • electron and muon default lists have been used • TGCElectronSelector has been added 2 days ago • Muon isol. variables are not there (IsoByTkPt025, IsoByCaloEt03) . • MCTruthSelector and Jets work fine • GetDcaX() was aborting when called (maybe my fault ...not sure) • HLT not ready for validation

HAF in CMSSW - Summary HAF in CMSSW each day gets better (Thanks to Serguei and Ming) but for full WZ validation few things need to be solved : • GetDca() is needed for WZ analysis • MuonIsolation ? • Supercluster distribution looks reasonable in 122 (was not good in 120) • HLT info not ready for validation
