  2. We created an itinerary and budget for The Plotters’ dream vacation: • They visited two cities in each time zone. • They traveled to 8 places in the U.S. • They drove 6,504.75 miles all together. • They stayed within their budget of $200.00 per day for 9 days (not including gas).

  3. The Food Budget • They spent $607.10 on meals. • They had $1,392.90 left over for activities.

  4. The first place they visited was Yellowstone National Park in Montana. • “Hot Springs Terraces Walk” • “Tales of Travertine” • “Wonders of Yellowstone” • “Wildlife Safety” • This whole day cost $25 for Yellowstone and $71.77 for their meals.

  5. The next few places they visited were: • San Francisco, California: Zoo • Mt. Whitney, California: Relatives • Grand Canyon, Arizona: Hike and Movie • Dallas, Texas: Football Game

  6. The next place they visited was Clearwater, Florida. • The Plotters visited Clearwater Marine • Aquarium. • First, they got their picture with the tailless • dolphin, Winter. • Then they explored the turtles and jellyfish. • Then they went to the Lowry • Zoo.

  7. The last two places The Plotters visited were: • Washington D.C.: Washington Monument and National Zoo. • St. Paul, Minnesota: Science Museum

  8. The Plotters had the time of their lives on their road trip across America!!!
