Regional Workshop on Migration Statistics15-17 February, 2010, Bishkek • Population Census 2012 • Definition of Emigrants is based on Recommendation of Conference of European statisticians on Population and Housing Censuses 2010 • person who has been abroad for more than 12 month or intends to stay more than 12 month • Unlike the previous Census, emigrant will also be a person who has been studying or working abroad for more than 12 month Exclude: • Diplomats • Military Forces • Mass media
