  1. 600 young women From 145 countries Over three years In 5 countries Working on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Making a personal pledge to achieve them Advocating for WAGGGS, MOs, governments, business and civil society to pledge their actions to help achieve the MDGs Young Women’s World Forums

The Regions and the World Centres 30,000 guests from 120 countries have stayed at the World Centres since 2006 All regions have been represented both as staff and volunteers 2008 saw the first African volunteer at Our Cabana Increasing diversity has been a top priority for the World Centres. Representation from the Arab Region doubled from 2007 - 2008

  3. 2009 Highlights Five Pax Lodge volunteers from the USA, Austria, Denmark, Canada and Syria spoke out on BBC Radio in Live Nation! – an experiment using live online translation to connect countries around the world. Sangam hosted a health awareness camp in partnership with the local Indian Scout and Guide fellowship Our Chalet welcomed over 600 UK Guides for the Great Guide Getaway, part of the UK centenary celebrations Our Cabana launched their Community Programme, offering a six week experience of Mexico volunteering with organisations in the local community. All the World Centres held special events to celebrate World Thinking Day and the centenary celebration day on the 10th of April

  4. Future Plans Support more visitors from underrepresented countries to experience the World Centres. Increase number of 18-30 year olds coming to the World Centres. Continue to host WAGGGS Leadership Development Programme seminars Work in partnership with the Regions to actively support their work.
