Invention: Popsicle • Frank made the popsicle at age 11. • He mixed a soft drink one winter night in 1905 made with soda, water powder, and water. • He put it on his front porch over night and in the morning there was a fruity substance on his front porch. • The popsicles gained popularity very quickly. • First made with birch wood sticks and sold for just a nickel. • Today hundreds of millions of popsicles are eaten in the U.S every year. • There are more than thirty flavors including Grape, Lemon, Lime, Banana, Cherry, and Raspberry. • The most popular flavor for year and years is Classic Orange.

  3. Inventor: Frank Epperson • Frank was born in 1894 and raised in San Francisco. • He the made the best creation to me the popsicle • Though he is said to have tasted it and shown to all his friends. • He sold his rights to the popsicle to Joe Lowe Company in New York.
