  2. TSG-A :Access Network inferfaces TSG-A is responsible for the specification of interfaces between the radio access network and core network, as well as within the Access Network. TSG-A is also responsible for interworking between 3GPP2 technologies and with other radio access technologies.

  3. Morning Session M2M support… • Developing A.S0025 IOS for cdma2000 M2M • Support both 1x Rev F with air interface enhancement & network evolution introduced in M2M • M2M device capability exchanges between BS and MSC. Others • Potential new air interface releases regarding whatever driving • Potential new requirement related to regional service • Publicly safety service , emergency service, etc • Femto cell further enhancement, regarding the new marketing driving, small cell deployments, etc

Afternoon Session(1) Operator network improvement • Green Network • Intra-ES with coverage compensations (undergoing) • SON work • Inter-RAN SON with Loading balance, Robust Mobility Optimization(MRO),etc, to match with WI developed in 3GPP. • Equipment Identity Register(ERI) • Track stolen mobiles ,Track malfunctioning mobiles ,Track mobiles for any other reasons • A research study item developed in CCSA • Support using MEID to track mobile over both 1x and HRPD network

Afternoon Session(2) Operator network improvement • Network sharing • TSG-A finished MSC pool spec 2 years ago, no more driving to enhance it • How LTE eNB and multiple -cdma operator AN to share the same EPC is need to be considered. • eUTRAN-cdma2000 IWK • Potential enhancements on eCSFB, optimized handoff,n on-optimized handoff, etc, regarding market deployment

Afternoon Session(3)—user needs panel China Telecom: CDMA 1x and EV-DO Network Enhancement • How to improve capacity with limited spectrum? • Mentioned several technologies already be addressed by 3GPP2 China Telecom: Mobile Internet Trends • How to build smart pipe for rich mobile internet services. • No specific impact to tsg-a, how to involve QoE and support it over cdma2000 network is important. • Cdma2000+WiFi data offloading in office to provide better service

  7. Afternoon Session(4)—user needs panel Smartfren Requirements • More implementation, esp. terminal available issue

  8. Afternoon Session(5)—M2M panel Develop smart m2m pipe---enhancements to existing cdma2000 network, which is being addressed in 2gpp2 all tsgs

  9. Summary M2M support—we are doing ES/SON---we are doing Cdma2000+WiFi---implementation, seldom impacts on std unless detailed new requirements. EIR---checking impact to TSG-A? build a smart pipe is all tsgs of 3GPP2 work TSG-A work already satisfied or are satisfying these general issues I recorded.
