  2. Decades ago, Sarabo which is located close to Dhaka was beyond fields or streams, in the view of Salman F Rahman. It is a result of their vision that the site is extremely significant to the Bangladeshi businessman. It has led to his transformative journey, from exporting seafood to the development of verticals across the majorly growing industries in Bangladesh. BEXIMCO Group is today a multinational conglomerate. It has achieved milestones of success one after the other.

  3. The Beginning of Bangladeshi Businessman’s Venture During the 1970s, BEXIMCO Group was established. Before this, the visionary co-founder, Salman Fazlur Rahman engaged in other operations that eventually led to the start of the Group. Decades back, when the entrepreneur came across Sarabo, it was a plain site with a stream and fields. Gradually, this site accommodated the textile and ceramics factories of the Bangladeshi conglomerate. Nearly 8,000 workers would visit the region in Sarabo, situated near Dhaka. They would engage in the production of cloth, bone china, as well as jeans. The processes included dyeing, spinning, weaving, and product finishing.

It began as a company that traded commodities during the 1970s. Gradually, it expanded with which various verticals came into being. Through these, the company gained access to the needed sources and technologies for its innovative as well as sustainable operations. Thus, they enabled it to succeed.
