    2. The desire to grow up and do something significant with their life seems to be the natural desire of every young child- Peter Pan being the exception.

    3. We should all have a natural, spiritual desire to want to grow up and the more clear we are on what that looks like the more equipped we are to get there.

    4. What can you do to grow to become more like Christ?

    5. I. Avoid the things that hinder us from growing. (11-14)

    6. Ephesians 4:11-16 11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ

    7. Ephesians 4:11-16 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.

    8. I. Avoid the things that hinder us from growing. (11-14) A. Immaturity:

    9. Infants • Juvenile, unlearned, unschooled, untutored, legally a minor.
