  3. 介紹 國王企鵝是體型第二大的企鵝，高９４公分、重１６公斤，其外表與皇帝企鵝相似，但顏色更為鮮豔，嘴部也比皇帝企鵝來的長，且國王企鵝寶寶的顏色為褐色，皇帝企鵝寶寶的毛色較偏灰色

  4. 食物 國王企鵝最愛的食物是魚和烏賊，但不是每次潛水都能捕獲到食物，大約８６５次潛水捕食僅８６次（１０％）成功而已。　　　

  5. 分布 有2個亞種，. p. patagonicus分佈於南美福克蘭群島及南喬治亞島，而. p. halli則分佈於南非南端的海域及紐西蘭南方的海域。

  6. 型態 與皇帝企鵝相較，嘴相對較長，耳斑有不同的色調及形狀。幼鳥有較淺的黃色耳斑及較暗的下顎板。亞種間的不同在嘴及翅膀的長度。

  7. 感想 國王企鵝是很可愛的動物我們應該努力保護牠。
