  4. Narrow Your Thesis • Ask questions about your thesis. • Your thesis is supposed to show your audience exactly what your paper will cover

  5. Qualify Your Thesis • You have to know that your thesis may be challenged so you can not state is so bluntly • Instead try using terms such as, may , probably, apparently, very likely, sometimes and often.
