Bugatti Veyron A Car Made By Volkswagen. Techn. ology.
The technology of the Bugatti Veyron is very advanced. It uses a V12 turbocharger for an engine that produces 1,001 horsepower, a turbocharger is something that sucks in more air and generates it into more power for the engine so the pistons could move faster.
Once in China I went to an auto show and saw this car. We even got to see the interior! I also got to hear the sound of the car when it’s at 200 miles per hour. It’s really loud! The car’s body lowers automatically when it reaches a certain speed to create more down force.
The Bugatti Veyron was carefully designed. It has a streamlined body with a length of 4.47 meters. It has a very low interior with a height of 1.21 meters. Our sedan’s height is higher than 2 meters. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 can reach 220 kilometers per hour without doing anything. After reaching 220, the Veyron’s back wing lifts and it can go 375 kilometers per hour, then its body lowers for a performance of top speed. It uses an air brake to slow down. Most cars now uses drum brakes or disk brakes, even regular sports cars use disc brakes. The Bugatti Veyron is in the class of Formula 1 and NASCAR.
The history of the Ettore Bugatti Motor Company dated back to 1881. By the time Bugatti was born, many small auto making companies were already making autos. Ettore wanted to make cars when he grew up, too. I would also like to run an auto company called 上海东方汽车公司 (ShàngHăiDōngFāngQìChēGōngSī). When he grew up, he founded the Bugatti Motor Co. At that time, auto making was very hard. When Henry Ford invented the assembly line in 1916, things changed a lot. Nobody has to work super hard any more.
